The Small Business Commerce Association (SBCA) is pleased to announce that Chemplast, Inc. has been selected for the 2009 Best of Business Award in the Injection molding of plastics category.
The SBCA 2009 Award Program recognizes the top 5% of small businesses throughout the country. Using consumer feedback, the SBCA identifies companies that we believe have demonstrated what makes small businesses a vital part of the American economy. The selection committee chooses the award winners from nominees based off information taken from monthly surveys administered by the SBCA, a review of consumer rankings, and other consumer reports. U.S. Local Business Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement
WASHINGTON D.C.,March 20, 2009 -- For the second consecutive year, Chemplast, Inc. has been selected for the 2009 Best of Stafford Award in the Mold Makers category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA).
The USLBA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USLBA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.
Nationwide, only 1 in 70 (1.4%) 2008 Award recipients qualified as 2009 Award Winners. Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2009 USLBA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USLBA and data provided by third parties.

| Chemplast's QMS is now ISO 9001:2008 certified - Sunday, May 03, 2009Building on a strong foundation which begun last year with the achievement of ISO 9001:2000, K.C. Alexander of Chemplast, announced that it is now certified to the ISO 9001:2008 standard.
Mr. Alexander noted that the solid foundation of their Quality Management System based strictly on the process approach and continual improvement principles, contributed to the successful periodic audit outcome. In addition, the efforts of all employees and the continuing support of Mireaux Management Solutions as their auditing and consultancy partner made the transition to the new standard a rewarding task.

| Chemplast achieves ISO 9001:2000 certification - Friday, May 30, 2008
After months of diligent work and 2 days of extensive auditing by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), KC Alexander of Chemplast, announced that DNV has recommended Chemplast for ISO certification.
KC Alexander added: "We are very proud of what our team accomplished in a such a short time. We already had many processes in place and just needed to bring them all together to work in unysom. With the help of Mireaux Management Solutions, we were able to accomplish that. We believe that the ISO standard has cemented our culture of customer satsifaction and continual improvement and are confident that this new step will help our company to grow and become a key supplier of plastics, rubber and metal products."
